Last week, several KBC staff members attended and exhibited at the National Religious Broadcasters (NRB) Convention in Nashville, Tenn. We'll have some updates for you soon on the exciting things that took place during the event, but this announcement cannot wait!

Last week, the NRB presented KiDs Beach Club^® partner Iran Alive Ministries (IAM) with a 2024 Special Service and Media Award for International Impact! We are beyond excited for them, and we are also humbled that God would allow us the privilege to be part of that international impact.

TAKE A MOMENT AND THINK ABOUT GOD'S PROVIDENCE!

Last year at the NRB Convention, KBC met and eventually began a partnership with Iran Alive Ministries. Over the next year, we would raise funds to dub all 55 episodes of our award-winning television show KiDs Beach Club^® TV into Farsi, the native tongue of most Iranians as well as other nearby Middle Eastern countries.

As you know from our last Surf Report, our generous donors have now fully funded the Farsi project, with Season Three already airing three times each week in Iran. By God's grace, He allowed KBC to form a partnership with an organization that would win this prestigious award the very next year at the NRB Convention!

We praise God once again for this partnership, and for the work that Iran Alive is doing to reach those who have never heard the name of Jesus. We believe this award also reflects the quality of the partnerships God has allowed us to have. Congratulations, Iran Alive, for this great award!

Last year, KBC began partnering with IDEAS to give kids in Mexico a Jesus experience. IDEAS is an organization committed to meeting needs in underprivileged communities in Mexico and offering Hope in Christ. Not once, but twice a week, IDEAS is using KBC curriculum in an after-school Bible Club setting at Vida International Church in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. They have about 30 kids attending, mostly from broken homes with limited financial resources. Praise God with us for the open doors for KBC in Mexico and for the lives changed as a result of hearing the Gospel message!

Now think about that in terms of Luke 6:38. The Bible says, "Give, and it will come back to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over." When we give with open hands and the right heart attitude, God promises to return it to us in abundance. Will He always return it to us monetarily? No, but He will return it to us in blessings overflowing, with no air pockets taking up the space where sweet sugar-filled blessings should be!

Farsi Project Now Fully Funded!

Thanks to the generosity of our donors, our vision for reaching the Farsi-speaking people of Iran is a reality!

Season 3 of KiDs Beach Club^® TV (KBC-TV) is now fully dubbed and had its long-awaited world debut last week when it began airing three times each week in Iran!

Praise God with us as we celebrate His goodness, and pray for those that will see the show and hear the life-changing Gospel message of Jesus for the first time.

Next up: This spring, we will host a special event to premier KBC-TV Season Three to people outside of Iran!

Brenda Magness joined the KiDs Beach Club^® team in January 2024 as a Serve Team Specialist. Along with her colleagues Michalla and Sara, her duties include follow-up, onboarding, training, and helping make sure our church partners and volunteers have the resources available to lead amazing Clubs week after week. Like the rest of her team, Brenda is no stranger to KBC. She actively volunteers in her church’s Beach Club^® as a Surf Team Leader each week and loves ministering to the children.

Brenda is also no stranger to ministry. As a college student, she surrendered to God’s call on her life for Christian ministry. For more than 20 years, she has served in churches across Texas, teaching Bible study classes, planning church-wide events, student camps, and leading Senior Adult ministries.

Brenda has been an active member at Cross City Church in Euless, Texas since 1995. She has served as the Children’s Choir Coordinator, taught Bible studies, worked in youth ministry, and ministered to ladies of all ages. In 2019, she answered God’s call to step out in faith and serve in her church’s new satellite campus, where she currently serves weekly as the Preschool Coordinator.

On a personal note, Brenda has been a licensed Realtor for 28 years where she has loved working with families to find their forever home. She also stays busy with her two daughters and grandkids going to ball games, stock shows, dance competitions, and just about anywhere they’ll let “grandma” tag along. Besides having the privilege to serve Christ, Brenda says that being an active grandmother to her four grandsons and one granddaughter is the next best thing in life!
